About
Wildwood, A Non-Profit Organization.
As
you turn off the main highway and start down our small
winding gravel road you will leave your worries and cares
behind. You are entering 60 acres of natural East Texas
terrain, which has a wide array of trees, wildflowers,
birds, squirrels, and other critters.
On
your left you will discover the old barn built in
approximately 1926. It has been lovingly renovated and now
offers a meeting/dining room with a full modern kitchen.
Upstairs
you will find the Hayloft and Tack Room, two living units
complete with small kitchen, bath and all the utensils
needed. In the old corral next to the barn now sits a
rustic covered pavilion built for fun and fellowship.
Continuing
on you will cross the creek. Then up a small rise to the
main Cedar House overlooking a 6 acre lake.
The
main Cedar House has decks overlooking the lake and the
creek plus two private rooms.
You
can work in the organic garden, pick wild berries when in
season or explore the woods.
We
invite you to come for Rest, Relaxation and Rejuvenation.
Come to Wildwood and think on Higher Things.
We invite you to come for an hour, a day, overnight,
or more.
